Wheat is the main cereal crop in India. The total area under the crop is about 29.8 million hectares in the country. Country wise. India is second largest producer of Wheat in the world after China with about 12% share in total world Wheat production.

Most of wheat produced in India been consumed locally, so India doesn’t play a big role in export market of wheat but it does have surplus time to time for exports in nearby countries and at the same, India also imports wheat in the deficit years. We do trade on both sides of the market for wheat while for wheat flour market, we are regular exporter of wheat flour into Asian Countries & Gulf region.
